Con un Fuego Insurgente

Ashes of fallout from smoke rising swiftly

blacken the pages of a stolen history

still surrounded in mystery

like mist in the valley of indigenous territory

cloaking a victory unknown to the enemy

billowing forth with the rage of the elements

in the age of descendants

is the flame of insurgents

to reclaim or burn it

I write prophecy in poetry to live longer than I breathe

further than I can see and better than I could be

to touch the feet of eternity

and know my time to leave.

People will ignore everything

but not everybody

and this stream that begins from a mountain at sunrise

retains the knowledge of a thousand lives side by side

ancient tribes walk now with their children

marveling at the fantastic destruction

incredible disfunction

but we're now past the junction

of a coloniser's fate, for them it's too late

they cheated their own race

A new dawn in Chiapas

Illuminating from an eastern location

in the opposite direction I'm facing

it's the sky - so amazing as it's rapidly changing

from the darkest of nights to lighter blue shading

profiles of mountains appear in relation to earth and sky

so close they align and for a moment 

we all breathe at the same time

a frequency of the divine

an instant of infinite vibrational conduits

Beyond mountains of gold where countless untold stories unfold

I meet my soul on the road to an unproven destiny

manifest energy, bumping like atoms not split into weaponry

supernaturally occurring in everything

the potential of life and I drink from the spring

conscious remembering while its all happening

gone are the times I'm defined by my enemy

since receiving a prophecy from astral reality

In between illicit states of destiny and fate

and sideways expectations to renegotiate

for a stand that I have to make

the least of which is a claim

but an anchor from the waves

and the chemicals I begin to crave

and the self retains what the selfish refrains

for true energy is reserved for the brave

in a duel to save

a momentum regained

metaphysically explained

in mysterious ways

now illusion dissolves

as the purpose of the heart is resolved

with no more expectation than the obligation to evolve

and in between states of destiny and fate

the world revolves again 

and I find my place.

Can you hold strong to the end

with the will of a best friend

no rest from the test and then do it again.

EXIST

Until the sun is high again and I fly again

there is no deliverance from repeat offense

just a sweet pretense

revealing the same indifference

cause people are suffering

and I'm here amongst them

my cousins and friends

brothers and men 

will discover again

that love never ends

Right the truth with the heart

Unbelievable start

dig deeper than sleepless

to achievable paths

beyond layers and masks

and the questions we ask

Awake The Spirit

Pretending like I understand

All from the heart

He's kidding himself from the start

wearing an LED shirt in the dark

saying "awake the spirit"

I say light it up amigo, like it was in the club

The world where I live

The world where I live is intuitive and fluid

many streams running through it

Greens and blues with light infused

as all streams make a path back to the start

of the world where I live

Boats resting on the beach at night

the whites of eyes catch glimpses behind

the shadows of trees in streetlight

the flick of my lighter attracts inattention

everybody with their own business to mind

and with just a bit more in this roach and bottle of coke

I can stay here and smoke

as my own shadow hopes so deep that I cope

The light of a dark beach uneasily acknowledged

met by the comfort of herb in rolled paper

resting easy between fingers like a lever

that can compound or release

an essence of energy

SELF DETERMINATION

Determined in a spark

the electricity of art

creations inspiration

multiple levels apart

but not more than the heart.

The unlimited will still travels through life

like water through light

like a kid rides a bike

initiated all in atomic time

- then someone borrows my light 

it turns out for a crack pipe, 

right in the middle of the sentence that I write -

and despite this the universe is prepared for the fight

Just like my poetry is flowin free,

don't know how it got so far away from me

but it's definitely back 1000 times that

It's how I see this world's not concrete

but flows like a river meets

every single tributary.

Subliminal Sounds

Interesting how subliminal sounds

move not through air but underground

and ears are not piqued but energy speaks

through the callousing skin of the feet.

Untenable feats, imaginably

enter the stream from beneath and release

to the calmest of streets comes the mother of beasts

subtle and sweet and at peace.

THE EVOLUTIONARIES

Changers remain, effectively the same

as all other energies rearrange and reclaim

invoking perspectives, unhidden objectives

Unable to help but whistle affections

Does it steer new directions

or prismic reflections of a phase to remember conception

Energy's like this sometimes and despite this

can move through a light switch

expanding an iris

divine realignment

triangulate motion and depth

in an eyeblink.

and instantly change the way people think

Poetricity, infinite capacity

what will it be next or before me

The essence of everything essential.

Is impossibility so attractive or counterreactive,

I let it touch me but I cannot make it stay.

Polynesia relates, relatives like crates and no one escapes washing the plates.
